About The Position

Grace Community Care & Homes is developing its Mental Health department and seeks a Clinical Director Outpatient Mental Health. The role will contribute to person-centered services, reliable operations, and accurate documentation. This is a planned role; the start date and duties are contingent on applicable program approvals, funding, credentialing, and staffing readiness. Services may begin only within the approved scope.

The position is in New Jersey, with administrative coordination through Grace and on-site or community assignments as applicable. The final assignment and weekly schedule will be discussed during hiring. Clinical services begin only at approved locations and within the program's authorized scope. Requirements

• NJ clinical license and supervisory qualifications appropriate to the final program model.
• Mental-health leadership experience.
• Final director eligibility must be verified for the license pursued.
• Applicants should provide relevant credentials, experience, availability, and a resume.
• Final regulatory eligibility will be verified before appointment or service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop the outpatient program.
• Supervise within credential scope.
• Establish assessment and treatment workflows.
• Oversee documentation, staffing, and clinical quality.
• Work collaboratively with department leadership, intake, credentialing, billing, and quality teams.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect participant choice.
• Communicate service gaps promptly.
• Follow role-specific policies and professional scope.
• Participate in orientation, competency review, and quality improvement.
