About The Position

The Clinical Director (CD) is a senior clinical leader responsible for launching, building, and scaling a Propel clinic from the ground up. This role blends hands-on clinical excellence with strategic leadership, operational partnership, and culture building. The Clinical Director serves as the local clinical authority, ensuring high quality care, strong team development and sustainable clinic growth from opening day through full capacity. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis, Psychology, or a related field
  • Valid and Active BCBA Certification
  • Eligible for and /or holding a Georgia State Licensure (LBA)
  • Applicable licensure to practice within Georgia
  • 3+ years' experience as a BCBA
  • 1+ year in a leadership/mentorship role
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Availability for 40-hour work week (need to be available 8:30-4:30 pm across clinic operation hours and support 2 open/close per week)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the clinical startup of a new Propel center, including readiness planning, systems implementation, and early-stage operations.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Center Manager and the Director of Clinical Services to bring the clinic from opening to sustained capacity.
  • Partner with executive leadership and operations teams to support center launch activities, including workflows, policies, and Propel clinical infrastructure.
  • Support clinic growth through intake completion, family tours, and clinical consultations as applicable.
  • Build and scale BCBA caseloads thoughtfully while maintaining Propel’s standards for quality and work-life balance.
  • Ensure and clinic compliance is up to date in collaboration with Center Managers.
  • Weekly meetings with Director of Clinical Services.
  • Completing 1:1 clinical advisement meeting with supervising BCBAs.
  • Completing clinic checks with technicians/stakeholders/clients.
  • Completing and training using clinical quality checks with clients/ BCBAs.
  • Serving as the local clinical leader of the center; Overseeing BCBAs assigned to that clinic and the Center Manager.
  • Supporting training and licensure processes for RBTs and/or transitioning RBTs to the company.
  • Oversight of hiring needs of RBTs and complete play interviews for candidates in collaboration with Operations (e.g. completing play interviews for RBTs for your center).
  • Structure and complete clinical support meetings for established BCBAs on-site at the center (as they arise).
  • Overseeing the clinic’s BCBA’s implementation of treatment plans, ensuring they align with best practice standards and meet individual client needs.
  • Collaborating with clinic BCBAs to ensure parents / caregivers are satisfied with clinical services and client progress is sustained long-term.
  • Support and manage local staff and day-to-day center tasks.
  • Ensure clinic compliance measures are up to date and maintained on-site in collaboration with Centers Managers and Operation team.
  • Support hiring, onboarding and clinical training of RBTs and clinical staff to ensure high quality service delivery.
  • Working collaboratively with the Center Manager and Operations Manager for staffing and operation needs.
  • Support clinic growth by completing intakes, assessments, and treatment plans to build and sustain client census.
  • Supporting tours and conversations with families in the intake process (when applicable).
  • Help Propel build and live our culture and values.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies.

  • Contingent on 3+ BCBAs per center, Clinical Directors may earn ½ WFH day per pay period by meeting billable expectations and remaining in good standing. After two consecutive pay periods, this may flex to one WFH day per month.
