About The Position
Take the next step in your career with Culinary Services Group as a Clinical Dietitian! This full-time position is located at the New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute in La Vegas, NM, within a psychiatric hospital setting, specifically in the LTC division, adult psych division, and forensic division. The schedule is Monday - Friday with rotating weekends. New graduates are welcome to apply. The salary range is $65k - $69k. Requirements
- Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration or eligible.
- Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable.
- Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
- Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients/residents, families, staff, and the community.
- Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
- Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient/resident care and clinical excellence.
- Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
- Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.
