About The Position

Take the next step in your career with Culinary Services Group as a Remote Clinical Dietitian! This role is located at New Mexico Behavioral Health Institute in La Vegas, NM, within a Psychiatric Hospital setting, specifically the LTC division, adult psych division, and forensic division. The schedule is full-time, Monday - Friday, with rotating weekends. The position requires the candidate to be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. The salary range is $72k - $76k. Requirements

  • Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
  • Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
  • Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
  • Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community.
  • Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
  • Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence.
  • Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
  • Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.
