About The Position
MaineGeneral Health is hiring a per diem Clinical Dietitian at its Alfond Center for Health campus in Augusta. The role supports patient-centered care by assessing and monitoring patients’ nutritional status, providing medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education, and teaching nutrition classes to people of various age groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree; a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition is preferred.
- State of Maine License as a Dietitian (LD) or State of Maine Temporary Dietitian License. Applicants who have met all licensure qualifications except passing the examination may receive a temporary, one-year, nonrenewable license.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) within six months of hire.
- Proficiency in a suite of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English is highly preferred.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nutrition is preferred.

Responsibilities
