About The Position

Take the next step in your career with Morrison Healthcare as a Semi-Remote Clinical Dietitian in Breese, IL! This role is at Morrison Healthcare at HSHS St Joseph in an acute care setting. The schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday with rotating weekends, typically one month. The position requires an RD Credential and covers both St Joseph Breese and St Joseph Highland, with 4 days working on-site and 1 day remote. The salary ranges from $60,416 to $84,284 depending on years of experience. Other forms of compensation include a meal plan, CEUs, AND and CDR dues paid, and tuition and education reimbursement. You’ll provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education in an acute care setting, working with a collaborative team to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
  • Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
  • Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
  • Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
  • Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
  • Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
  • Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
  • Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable
