This role involves preparing and implementing nutritional assessments with care plans in accordance with departmental policy and standards of care. The position prioritizes patients at high-risk by utilizing the multi-patient task list, MD consult/referral, or other available means. The Clinical Dietitian initiates medical nutrition therapy interventions as part of the patient’s individual plan of care and functions as a liaison between the Nutritional Services Department, Medical Staff, Nursing Staff, and other Ancillary Departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Nutrition or Dietetics, or other nutrition related educational program.
• Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Current licensure as a Dietitian in the State of Georgia.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Food Nutrition or Dietetics, or other nutrition related educational program.
• Two (2) years of experience in clinical dietetics with broad areas of clinical practice.

Responsibilities
