Alan B. Miller Medical Center is opening in Spring 2026 and is seeking a Clinical Dietitian. This new state-of-the-art hospital will be a neighborhood hospital with medical center excellence, joining UHS's growing regional network. The hospital will feature 150 private patient rooms, a medical office building, and a helistop, spanning 365,000 square feet. It will offer comprehensive medical services including Emergency Care, Orthopedics and Surgical Services, Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Oncology, Cardiovascular and Neurosurgical services, as well as outpatient services. The Clinical Dietitian will assume responsibility and accountability for performing specialized clinical nutrition services, including nutrition assessment/reassessment, nutrition counseling/education, modified diet formulation, performance improvement projects, and education functions to provide quality nutrition care. This role is also responsible for special projects as assigned. Key duties include assessing nutritional status, identifying potential issues like dehydration, dysphagia, and inappropriate food consistency, assessing enteral nutrition needs, and providing patient/family education on special diets.
