About The Position
To assess the nutritional needs of patients; provide quality nutritional care and monitor response to nutrition therapy as appropriate to the age of the population served (i.e. child, adolescent, adult and geriatric).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Science or closely related field.
- Up to 1 year of post-degree coursework and/or internship.
- 3-6 months of on-the-job training/orientation.
- RD/RDN registration required.
- Analytical ability to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize information and data to solve problems or design relatively complex systems and programs.
- Ability to counsel and educate patients and their families.
- Ability to assign and follow up on the work of other employees.
- Ability to perform other duties requiring a comparable level of communication skill.
