About The Position

Responsible for providing nutrition care to patients in accordance with physician's diagnoses and requirements of regulatory agencies. Obtains, analyzes and collates patient information into nutrition care plans and recommendations for nutrition care. Member of multidisciplinary health care team. Plans, develops, and presents nutrition information and programs to patients, staff, and community. Exercises independent judgment regarding patient nutrition care and completion of work assignments.

Requirements

  • Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • Current Missouri Dietitian license.

  • Serve as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team.
  • Plan, develop, and present nutrition information and programs to patients, staff, and community.
  • Exercise independent judgment regarding patient nutrition care and completion of work assignments.
