About The Position
Sodexo is hiring a Registered Dietitian for a full time inpatient role at New York-Presbyterian Queens, a premier healthcare institution located in the heart of Queens, NY. NYP-Queens is a 535-bed academic medical center and a Level 1 Trauma Center, renowned for its commitment to clinical excellence, compassionate care, and cutting-edge medical innovation.
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian credential
- excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- strong time management skills
- the ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
- Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities
- provide exceptional nutrition care to patients in med/surg units
- be well versed in the Nutrition Focused Physical Exam and Malnutrition Identification
- work every 5th weekend and rotating holidays providing hospital-wide coverage
- be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process
- efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities
