About The Position
Provides medical nutrition care to patients through nutrition assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and education using evidence-based guidelines. Develops care plans with appropriate follow-up and reassessment of interventions. Manages the total nutritional care of patients receiving enteral nutrition and assesses and diagnoses patients for malnutrition.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition from an accredited college or university.
- Alabama state licensure.
- Registered Dietitian credential with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, to be obtained within six months of employment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of clinical experience; preferred but not required.
