About The Position
Unidine is hiring immediately for a Clinical Dietitian position. This role is located at Ridgecrest Village in Davenport, IA, within a Continuing Care Retirement Community setting. The position is part-time, requiring 20 hours per week, typically spread over 3 days. The Clinical Dietitian will provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education in a senior living environment, collaborating with a team to improve resident outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care. The culinary team is central to the business, with opportunities to enhance lives, create connections, and make a difference.
Requirements
- Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
- Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable.
- Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
- Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to residents, families, staff, and the community.
- Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care.
- Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing resident care and clinical excellence.
- Partner with the food service management team to help achieve resident satisfaction and service goals.
- Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable.
