About The Position

Sentara Therapy Center Marina Shores is hiring a Clinical Dietitian for Outpatient - Full Time. Seeking a Dietitian who is comfortable with a variety of diagnoses - diabetes, renal diseases, etc. Responsible for the assessment and nutritional management of acute and chronic disease in the outpatient setting. May include individual and group counseling, culinary nutrition, community outreach, public education and scheduling. Develops and/or implements a comprehensive care plan based on assessment and evaluation of patient/caregiver needs.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree
BLS
Registered Dietitian (RD) must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
Verification statements required for those candidates awaiting RD credentialing.
If Bachelor's Degree is in major other than Dietetics, must complete an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics.
