About The Position
Responsible for performing nutrition screening and assessments, developing and implementing nutrition care plans, and providing nutrition education to patients and their families. This is a per diem position with no committed hours and no benefits eligibility, in the CVMC Cardiac Rehab department at Central Vermont Medical Center.
Requirements
- Active status as a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Demonstrated knowledge of growth and development, aging and geriatric care, pregnancy and lactation, nutrition support, and patient education and counseling.
Nice To Haves
- Vermont certification preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a registered dietitian in an acute health care facility preferred.
