About The Position
Shriners Children’s is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Registered Dietitian with a passion for helping the pediatric population to work in our Nutritional Services Department. The Clinical Dietician is responsible for providing clinical nutrition services and care to pediatric patients with a variety of diagnoses and acuity, and counsels/educates patients and their families on specific diets and normal nutrition.
Requirements
- Dietician license in state of practice

- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- 2 years clinical experience
- Pediatric experience
Responsibilities
- Performs comprehensive nutritional assessments of assigned pediatric patients with a variety of diagnoses and acuity levels.
- Develops a nutritional care plan based on the findings of the Nutritional Screen and/or Assessment.
- Monitors/reassesses hospital patients
- Supervises the work of the Dietary Clerks, and Volunteers.
- Assists with planning the patients’ cycle menu to promote healthy choices as defined by the U.S. Dietary Guidelines.
- Maintains inventory of clinical supplies required to provide services.
- Consults with the Manager as specified.
