About The Position

Ohana Pacific Health is seeking a passionate nursing professional to plan, develop, and coordinate education and development programs for facility team members, contractors, and volunteers. The role also oversees the facility infection control program and supports compliance with regulatory requirements related to education, quality improvement, and infection control.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Registered Nurse with the State of Hawaii Board of Nursing.
• Ability to learn the use of quality improvement methods and materials.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience in clinical staff development in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the facility infection control program.
• Ensure facility compliance with regulatory requirements related to education, quality improvement, and infection control.
• Coordinate in-service activities and programs with departments, contractors, and volunteers in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Develop and direct orientation programs for nursing personnel in accordance with nursing department policies and procedures, and for other departments as assigned.
• Develop and maintain attendance records, reports, and reference materials pertinent to educational programs.
