About The Position

Ivy Rehab is seeking a Clinical Development Coordinator to support the design, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of Clinical Development programs across the Ivy Rehab Network. This role is crucial for establishing the framework, expectations, standards, and workflows for all clinical programs, impacting clinicians from students to experienced professionals. The coordinator will work with field teams, local operations, and support center staff to ensure optimal program design, implementation, and adoption, assessing impact and driving improvements to enhance care quality and clinical excellence. This position acts as a central liaison between Clinical Excellence, Operations, People/HR, education partners, and other stakeholders to ensure programs are organized, scalable, measurable, and aligned with Ivy's commitment to clinical excellence, workforce development, and continuous growth.

Requirements

  • Degree in a health-related field, PT, OT, SLP preferred
  • Three years post-graduate experience with design or implementation of clinical development programs across a multi-site, distributed healthcare organization located across multiple states.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage students, graduates, and senior clinicians.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interest in clinical development activities, including clinical education, mentoring, and ongoing clinical development programs.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to organize timelines, deliverables, workflows, project trackers, and implementation plans.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within Clinical Excellence and with partners outside the department, including Operations, People/HR, education partners, and other internal or external stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate program goals into clear resources, updates, presentations, and stakeholder-ready materials.
  • Highly organized and task-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across concurrent programs and initiatives.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a program coordinator, peer mentor, or involvement in clinical education programs.
  • Knowledge of student placement processes and university partnerships.
  • Familiarity with professional standards and accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, coordinate, and maintain the frameworks, workflows, templates, and standardized resources supporting Clinical Development programs, including student engagement, new teammate mentorship, clinical career ladder, specialty programs, clinical development ladder, mentor training, CI/FWE training, and clinical training pathways for experienced clinicians.
  • Translate program goals into clear project plans, timelines, deliverables, communication structures, and integration/implementation tools for consistent execution across teams and regions.
  • Maintain program documentation, process maps, resource libraries, and operational standards to support scalability, role clarity, and adoption.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships across the organization to ensure appropriate resources are available to lead and execute clinical development priorities.
  • Support governance routines, progress tracking, stakeholder updates, and escalation pathways to keep Clinical Development initiatives organized and aligned to priorities.
  • Lead, coordinate, develop, and enhance clinical development programs (including student experience, mentorship, mentorship training, and clinical development program structure) in collaboration with the Clinical Excellence Team, Operational leadership, clinical leaders, and support center partners.
  • Support the development of structured programs including resources, schedules, feedback tools, communication materials, and learning opportunities aligned to clinical experience/goals and discipline needs.
  • Partner with clinical stakeholders to support training, readiness, and quality expectations for safe, structured, and effective learning environments.
  • Monitor participant feedback, participation, utilization, and operational trends to identify improvement opportunities and support program sustainability.
  • Collect, track, and analyze feedback, participation data, program outcomes, operational trends, and stakeholder input across Clinical Development programs to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to quality standards, guidelines, policies, dashboards, and training resources that align with best practice in clinical education, mentorship, and professional development.
  • Support continuous improvement cycles by documenting findings, recommending adjustments, standardizing successful practices, and helping implement revised workflows or resources.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Excellence team and cross-functional partners to support compliance, accreditation readiness where applicable, and consistent program quality.
  • Build strong relationships within Clinical Excellence and with Operational leaders, People/HR partners, education partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, action items, project trackers, resource updates, and stakeholder communications to keep programs moving forward and aligned to timelines.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally through written updates, resources, presentations, and stakeholder-ready materials that support adoption and understanding.
