About The Position

The Orenda Center of Wellness is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Department Manager to run the Men's Residential 3.3 / 3.5 treatment program at our Buckeystown Campus. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinical department, caring a client caseload, facilitating daily clinical groups, supervising clinicians, ensuring high-quality client care, and maintaining documentation and CARF compliance standards. This role will require the ability to make quick and appropriate clinical decision for clients in distress while guiding / supporting the clinical team.

Requirements

  • Certificate of completion in addiction counseling with a minimum of a bachelor's degree
  • Appropriate Maryland state licensing such as CAC-AD, LCSW, LCPC LCADC
  • Board of counseling approved Supervisor
  • Extensive knowledge of ASAM criteria and regulatory standards of care
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years' experience working in the field of addiction treatment and/or mental health counseling as a licensed provider
  • Experience facilitating therapeutic group and individual sessions
  • Ability to maintain a case load of 10 clients while fulfilling the management duties
  • Strong de-escalation and leadership skills
  • Ability to pass local & federal background checks
  • Ability to clear a full panel drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate weekly clinical meetings, peer chart reviews, and clinical supervision sessions
  • Oversee quality assurance and CARF compliance initiatives
  • Conduct staff trainings, performance reviews, and leadership development goals
  • Collaborate closely with leadership and work under the directive of the IP Executive Director
  • Maintain weekly client schedules and oversee department operations
  • Oversee all clinical decision-making related to administrative discharges
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment
