About The Position

Dynamic Service Solutions (DSS) is seeking compassionate professionals to join their Children First Residential Care Program. This program provides trauma-informed, culturally responsive care in a safe and supportive environment, aiming to help children achieve stability and family reunification. The role requires professionals passionate about serving vulnerable populations and making a meaningful impact. Many roles require fluency in English and Spanish.

Requirements

  • Master's or doctorate degree from an accredited program, university, or college in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or other behavioral discipline in which clinical experience is a program requirement.
  • LCSW, LPC, LMSW, LPC-A, or equivalent in the respective field, or eligibility for licensure.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) required.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional degree/course work in related fields is desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree plus five years of clinical employment experience in the behavioral sciences.

Responsibilities

  • Execute client intake, admission, and diagnostic assessments, diligently documenting results per ORR/CFRC standards.
  • Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and intervention services. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans; facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions; and manage preventative mental wellness interventions. Monitor, document, and adjust treatment as per client progression, making external referrals when necessary.
  • Provide counseling, therapy, and/or psychotherapy to children as appropriate to the position; prepare treatment plans, discharge plans, and follow-up care programs; provide therapeutic crisis intervention and emergency services as required.
  • Collect background history of the child through interviews, case history, psychological tests, and/or observational techniques; and evaluating the data to identify possible adjustment challenges and determine proper therapeutic approach.
  • Ensures proper referral to OTIP for possible child trafficking.
  • Provide and/or arrange for therapeutic interventions as appropriate for clients in a crisis; including outpatient services or hospitalization as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation as required by state and federal regulations, to include ensuring that all services provided to youth are documented in the client record and required databases in accordance with state and federal regulations.
