About The Position

Shoreline Behavioral Health Services is seeking a full-time clinical counselor to join their clinical team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping individuals and families struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders. This role involves providing timely clinical interventions and treatment services within an outpatient clinic setting in Conway, SC. The position requires availability to work five days a week, Monday through Friday, including some evening hours as needed.

Requirements

• LPC, LISW-CP, LMFT, LMSW, or master’s degree in human service-related field and working toward licensure required.
• Must be able to use clinical judgement while working independently at times and be self-directed.
• Applicant must have availability to work evening hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual and group counseling
• Completes biopsychosocial assessments during open access, as needed
• Provides crisis intervention services to call-in and walk-in clients, as needed
• Assists other clinical staff with staffing cases, placement decisions, and treatment methods/materials
• Able to learn and implement evidence-based treatment modalities
• Contributes effectively as a team member, participating in weekly team meetings, sharing ideas, and communicating with supervisors and other team members
• Maintains accurate records as required by OSUS, Medicaid and agency policy/procedures, as assigned
• Maintains current licensures and/or certification necessary for the position
• Maintains client charts according to quality standards regarding clinical content and timely entry as established by OSUS, Medicaid and agency policy/procedures
• Provides the required amount of direct service time each week
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
