About The Position

The Clinical Coordinator provides clinical supervision and guidance to staff through the daily operation of the program. Coordinates all activities of the program and assists the Director in other assigned duties. The Clinical Coordinator performs an integral role in carrying out the mission of The Counseling Center, Inc., by performing the following duties: 1. Responsible for the day-to-day operation of clinical services. Plans and organizes the implementation of services relating to the program. Ensures proper coverage of program and continuity of operation. 2. Provides supervision of clinical services and/or staff. Obtains maximum utilization of staff by clearly defining duties, monitoring performance standards, and conducting performance appraisals of subordinates as assigned. 3. Maintains quality control measures and monitors work quality for compliance with standards. Trains staff in appropriate documentation and record keeping. Monitors the need for professional development of staff. Secondary functions are duties that are not exclusive to the position and can be performed by other positions; however, secondary duties are performed for the efficiency of The Counseling Center, Inc. 4. Provide direct services as determined necessary by program need, including but not limited to group and individual therapy, CPST and case management services, level of care assessments, and treatment planning. Service provision target of 30-40%. 5. Covers duties of any absent employee; assists in scheduling replacement or personally performs duties to ensure continuity of care. 6. Performs any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Degree in a behavioral science or suitable education required.
  • Current licensure as an LIII, LISW, LICDC, or LPCC.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • Current on applicable agency trainings.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior counseling experience in a similar setting of at least four (4) years preferred, including experience working in addiction and with families preferred.
  • Prior administrative and/or supervisory experience in related services of at least one (1) year preferred.
