About The Position

Saint Luke's North in Kansas City is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for the Operating Room. The position assists the Clinical Nurse Manager with supervising, planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating the unit's day-to-day operations, including personnel-related matters. The Clinical Coordinator serves as a professional role model, demonstrating clinical leadership, independent judgment, and decision-making skills. The role also provides staff resources for departmental records, scheduling, staff development, and special projects. The Clinical Coordinator assesses learning needs and plans, implements, and evaluates educational activities for nursing staff. In addition, the position serves as a clinical resource and change agent to promote and support a professional practice environment. This is a full-time day position, with flexibility required to meet unit needs.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of applicable experience.
• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Associate degree.
• Full-time availability and flexibility to meet unit needs.

Responsibilities
