About The Position

Seeking Clinical Nurse Coordinator! Baptist Health Floyd, 3AC Medical Inpatient/Ambulatory Care/Oncology Full-time (40 Hours Weekly), Days Benefit Eligible. In this role, the Nurse Coordinator is responsible for providing assistance to the department Nurse Manager in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating nursing services of the unit. Collaborates with Quality Manager to support quality initiatives and performance improvement activities. The Medical Inpatient Unit, also known as 3AC, is a 44-bed medical-surgical unit that pilots' new ideas for the hospital. Nurses will care for a wide range of medical diagnosis and conditions. The Innovation Unit serves as a wonderful opportunity for new graduate LPN and RNs to start nursing careers and is complimented by seasoned nurses who share their expertise. The Ambulatory Service Center provides a comprehensive continuum of care for Outpatient Service Center patients. The Oncology Unit, also known as 2A, is a 10-bed unit that provides care to Chemotherapy/Cancer Support/Hospice/Telemetry/Post-Op patients. Nurses have the opportunity to build their skill set in a med/surg atmosphere while also developing specialty skills related to chemotherapy and oncology care. New Graduate LPNs and RNs are welcome.

Requirements

Graduate of an approved nursing program with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
At least one (1) year of nursing experience required.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a Charge Nurse or Supervisor preferred.
Quality Improvement/Data Analysis experience preferred.
