Clinical Coordinator Medical Inpatient and Oncology Nights
About The Position
Seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for Baptist Health Floyd, 3AC Medical Inpatient/Ambulatory Care/Oncology. This is a full-time (40 hours weekly) night shift position that is benefit eligible. The Nurse Coordinator assists the department Nurse Manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating nursing services of the unit. They also collaborate with the Quality Manager to support quality initiatives and performance improvement activities. The Medical Inpatient Unit (3AC) is a 44-bed medical-surgical unit that pilots new ideas and cares for a wide range of medical diagnoses and conditions, serving as an opportunity for new graduate LPNs and RNs. The Ambulatory Service Center provides a continuum of care for Outpatient Service Center patients. The Oncology Unit (2A) is a 10-bed unit providing care to Chemotherapy/Cancer Support/Hospice/Telemetry/Post-Op patients, allowing nurses to build skills in a med/surg atmosphere and develop specialty skills in chemotherapy and oncology care. New Graduate LPNs and RNs are welcome.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved nursing program with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
- At least one (1) year of nursing experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a Charge Nurse or Supervisor preferred.
- Quality Improvement/Data Analysis experience preferred.
