About The Position

The Clinical Coordinator reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. This role facilitates unit operations on a shift basis, coordinates unit-based staffing assignments, and directs patient care provided by staff nurses and support personnel for a specific shift. The Clinical Coordinator champions new initiatives, communicates directly with patients and their significant others about nursing care, and implements appropriate action plans to provide safe, quality, and efficient care. They also assure the safety and security of patients, significant others, and staff, and contribute to the development of process improvement opportunities and initiatives in collaboration with the unit manager. This role utilizes unit/department dashboards and partners with leadership in leading activities that ensure meeting of targeted goals, assures regulatory compliance of all activities, and assists with data interpretations and analysis. Direct patient care is provided as needed.

Requirements

Registered Nursing license issued by the State of Illinois
Bachelor Science Nursing
BLS through American Heart Association
Minimum two years clinical experience in area of clinical specialty

Responsibilities

Facilitates unit operations on a shift basis according to policy, procedure, and regulatory requirements.
