About The Position

Ensures that all documentation specific to participants (team members) is up to date. This position supports and is accountable for data integrity specific to Zoom Group’s electronic record keeping system (THERAP). Ensures proper and current ICD billing is correct and maintains records for Michelle P Waiver (MPW) participants and Supports for Community Living (SCL) as necessary.

  • Requires basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word; Internet Explorer; ability to navigate to Medicaid website for billing; and operate email.
  • The ability to file and maintain records, operate common office equipment: computers, telephones, faxes, copiers.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred, 2 year associates degree from accredited college or technical school, and a minimum one-year related experience. . Equivalent combination of education, training, skills, and experience may be considered.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Per DDID Regulations, The Quality Assurance Support Staff will maintain MPW files: Tracks, monitors, and processes participant (team member) data including but not limited to: plan of care, all annual documentation, releases, monthly summaries, HRST/SIS, etc.; including gathering documentation from case managers and other resources.
  • Tracks, monitors, revises, and processes specific to documentation required for waiver billing and audit.
  • Performs data entry; tracks and maintains all participant (team member) documentation and compliance information in the database (THERAP).
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the MPW requirements; provide guidance to clients and clients’ families regarding other available services through MPW.
  • Assist Commercial Operations staff (Manager, Plant Manager, and Site Coordinators) with understanding and meeting compliance requirements of SLC|MPW clients.
  • Assist with training and oversight of SCL|MPW clients assigned to site.
  • Seek and implement more efficient methods of maintaining recordkeeping requirements for SCL|MPW.
  • Draft monthly summary tracking sheets, noting outcomes and objectives.
  • Upload/set up prescriptions and MAR’s for MPW and SCL.
  • Track and submit monthly medication error report.
  • Responsible for the required annual emergency and disaster plan training and competency verification.
  • Other duties related to compliance as assigned and discovered.
