About The Position

EAC Network, a leading not-for-profit social service agency, is seeking a dedicated full-time Clinical Coordinator to join the Bronx Community Re-Entry Assistance Network (CRAN) Program. This role focuses on providing clinical support to Case Managers serving the Behavioral Health & Justice Involved Population. The CRAN program aims to make a significant difference in the lives of individuals transitioning back into the community.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or Social Work required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with mental illness required.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications and automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, calendar, and email and/or database software.
• Knowledge of treatment programs and the criminal justice system required.

Nice To Haves

• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and support to the Assistance Network Services and Community Transitional Case Management teams in collaboration with the Clinical Director.
• Oversee clinical documentation in conjunction with the Quality Assurance Coordinator and Directors.
• Determine client eligibility and screen cases for comprehensive assessments (psychological testing and/or risk assessment) in collaboration with the Clinical Director.
• Utilize advanced degree education, skills, and experience to provide appropriate professional services, techniques, and strategies for clients.
• Customarily and regularly exercise discretionary powers.
• Review intake assessments, conduct re-assessments, and provide treatment recommendations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact and collaborate with Rikers Social Work Staff, Court, the Office of the District Attorney, the Defense Bar, and all other involved criminal justice agencies.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Assist the Clinical Director in the supervision of trainees and interns.
• Interface with community treatment providers.
• Conduct clinical rounds and ongoing in-service trainings.
• Perform all other duties as determined by Supervision and EAC NETWORK Administration.
