About The Position

Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking a Clinical Coordinator (RN) – Behavioral Health for a permanent/full-time position in New Hampshire. Local candidates are preferred. This role involves coordinating the daily activities of clinical support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and adequate staffing, while also providing direct nursing care. The position requires strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care practices, with experience in patient triage, prescription refill management, and care coordination being essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and be able to maintain patient confidentiality and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office setting – Required
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care practices
  • Experience with patient triage, prescription refill management, and care coordination
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) or equivalent – Required
  • Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact RN License – Required
  • BLS Certification (AHA or American Red Cross) – Required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience supervising or coordinating clinical support staff in a medical office – Highly Preferred
  • Pediatrics experience – Highly Preferred
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Highly Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the daily activities of clinical support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and adequate staffing.
  • Provide direct nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans.
  • Perform telephone triage, manage prescription refill requests, and coordinate ongoing patient care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established clinical protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and clinical communications.
  • Educate patients and families regarding disease management, medications, treatment plans, and preventive care.
  • Supervise and mentor clinical support staff while promoting teamwork and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with nursing standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned.
