About The Position

The FEP Team Clinical Coordinator (Licensed Mental Health Professional or LMHP) in conjunction with the FEP Program Manager, leads a multidisciplinary team serving those with severe mental illness. The FEP Team Coordinator's duties include providing leadership, assessing, developing, coordinating, and providing treatment and rehabilitation and support services. directs the day-to-day clinical operations of the FEP team, including managing a team of clinicians, program budgeting, reviewing documentation, and providing licensed clinical supervision to appropriate staff. This is a grant-funded position that may terminate with the ending of the grant funding.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree from a program that prepares individuals to practice counseling (60-hr Master’s Program), which is offered by a college or university accredited by a regional accrediting agency. (Re: 54.1-3500 of the Code of Virginia)
  • Two years of post-licensure clinical experience
  • One year of supervisory experience, preferably in a mental health setting
  • LCSW, LPC or LMFT
  • Knowledge of and adherence to existing professional ethical standards
  • Knowledge of and adherence to agency policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of and adherence to licensure regulations related to services provided
  • Ability to drive and must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to participate in and successfully pass behavioral intervention training

Responsibilities

  • Providing leadership

  • Traveling to meetings, other campuses, and counseling sites
  • Responding to emergency situations in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Using a personal computer and other office equipment
  • Providing clinical supervision to QMHP-Es, Interns, and/or LMHP-Es
  • Willing and available to work modified schedules (weekends, holidays, etc.) as required
  • Driving and possessing a valid driver’s license
  • Transporting clients
  • Providing services to clients at other locations
  • Participating in and successfully passing behavioral intervention training
