Requirements

Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling
One (1) year of experience working with emotionally troubled children and affected families in a clinical setting.
Knowledge and experience with DSM 5 diagnosing.
Experience in case management functions.
Must provide proof of registration for supervision toward licensure with the Virginia Department of Health Professionals (LPC or LCSW) within 90 days of employment.
Must successfully pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening test and employment reference checks.

Responsibilities

Providing clinical consultation to the Juvenile Court Services Unit.
Screening, assessment, case management, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and coordinating referrals.
Ensuring that clients and their families receive the necessary behavioral health care.
Facilitating timely access to H-NNCSB's comprehensive continuum of services, ensuring that services are responsive to individual service plans.
Providing information about H-NNCSB services to the Juvenile Court Services Unit staff, enabling them to deliver effective and least restrictive care.
Meeting clients' identified needs compassionately and professionally.
