Clinical Care Technician (RMA/EMT/Paramedic) | Base Lodge and West Glacier Clinics | PRN
About The Position
This position performs general diagnostic radiologic exams and assists providers with specialty exams. Performs clinical and general department responsibilities to assist in optimizing quality, patient satisfaction, and utilization of services. This unique role combines patient registration, patient care, clinical support, and limited radiology services in a outpatient clinic environment. Logan Health will pay for your 104-hour Limited Permit X-Ray training course and support you through the licensing process, giving you the opportunity to expand your skills and advance your healthcare career while you work.
Requirements
- Current Montana EMT license.
- Current Montana Paramedic license.
- Current Montana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Current Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
- No prior radiology experience required.
- Successfully complete the training program and obtain a Limited Permit from the Montana State Board of Radiologic Technologists within four (4) months of hire.
- RQI Provider (BLS) certification within seven (7) days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first.
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, maintaining confidentiality and empathy in all interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities
- Register patients and verify demographic and insurance information.
- Room patients and obtain vital signs.
- Assist providers with patient care and clinic procedures.
- Prepare patients for radiology examinations.
- Perform radiologic examinations within Limited Permit specifications.
- Collect and process specimens as applicable.
- Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment.
