About The Position
The Speech-Language-Hearing Center at Worcester State University is seeking a qualified and dedicated audiologist to join its clinical team. This part-time, non-benefited position involves providing diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology services to patients of all ages and supervising university students within a clinic setting. Requirements
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from an accredited program
- Current licensure or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in audiology
- Experience with diagnostic testing and hearing aid dispensing
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to student education and evidence-based clinical practice

- Interest in participating in program development, outreach and interprofessional collaboration
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audiologic evaluations, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, immittance testing and otoacoustic emissions
- Provide hearing aid evaluations, fittings, programming and follow-up care
- Counsel patients and families regarding hearing loss, treatment options and communication strategies
- Coordinate maintenance of all evaluation and screening equipment and technology
- Supervise and mentor Worcester State University students
- Ensure all clinical services adhere to ethical, legal and professional standards (e.g., HIPAA compliance)
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Assist in coordinating clinic services, scheduling and patient care workflows
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support clinical education and program goals
- Lead Audiology Committee Meetings
- Participate in outreach activities or community education events, as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned.
