About The Position

Work at the nationally known, state-of-the-art, American Family Children’s Hospital in Madison, WI. We are seeking a Pediatric Audiologist to independently perform high quality diagnostic evaluations and provide rehabilitative services in a dynamic, fast-paced outpatient clinic. Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians and audiologists. Maintain current “state of the art” knowledge as it pertains to audiological diagnostic and rehabilitative procedures. Be open and receptive to guidance in performing diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology as provided by the Senior Audiologists.

Requirements

• Master's Degree AuD in Audiology
• 7 years or more of clinical experience post-externship
• Completion of an accredited doctoral program in audiology
• Experience supervising a learner
• Wisconsin Audiology license Upon Hire
• ASHA: Certificate of Clinical Competence CCC-A Upon Hire

• Contribution to local or national professional boards and committees (such as ASHA, AAA, or state-level speech and hearing associations)
• Record of presentation at national and regional professional conferences
• Record of active participation in program development/quality improvement initiatives
• Interest in and/or history of seeking mentorship in developing leadership skills
