The Adult Neuro-Oncologist will provide comprehensive clinical care for adult patients with primary brain tumors and other central nervous system malignancies within the Preston A. Wells Jr. Brain Tumor Center at the University of Florida. This position will focus primarily on clinical care, including outpatient neuro-oncology clinics, inpatient consultations, and longitudinal management of patients undergoing neurosurgery, radiation therapy, systemic therapies, and clinical trials. The faculty member will work closely with neurosurgery, radiation oncology, and medical oncology to support a multidisciplinary care model and ensure timely evaluation and treatment of complex neuro-oncology patients. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the faculty member will contribute to the Center’s academic mission through teaching and research. Responsibilities include mentoring trainees, participating in multidisciplinary tumor boards, and supporting clinical research initiatives and early-phase clinical trials. The position will play a critical role in expanding patient access, enhancing continuity of care, and increasing clinical trial enrollment as the Brain Tumor Center continues to grow as a nationally recognized program in neuro-oncology.
