Clinical Associate (Nursing Assistant) Training Program
About The Position
This is a paid Clinical Associate Training Program (CATP) designed to support candidates with little or no patient care experience who are seeking a direct patient care position within Winchester Hospital. Upon successful completion of the program, candidates will join one of the inpatient teams to deliver superior physical and emotional assistance to patients. Winchester Hospital is a 5x Magnet designated, Top 10 Massachusetts recognized regional hospital that is the leading provider of comprehensive health care services in the northwest suburban Boston area. The program is hosted at Winchester Hospital, with future dates to be determined. This opportunity is ideal for individuals pursuing a path in Pre-Med, Physician Assistant studies, or Nursing, or for those looking for a meaningful way to start a career in healthcare.
Requirements
- Must be able to commit to no less than 24 hours a week.
- Must be available for various hours/various shifts including every other weekend and holiday rotation.
- Cannot reduce hours during the first year of employment.
- Required to attend all training program sessions.
- Must be vaccinated against influenza (flu) as a condition of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Pursuing a path in Pre-Med, Physician Assistant studies, or Nursing.
- Little or no patient care experience.
