The Clinical Sleep Assistant facilitates the administrative aspects, and offers support in the storefront area as it pertains to CPAP therapy in a specific branch location, or a site under the supervision of a healthcare professional. The incumbent will carry out all responsibilities while promoting Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada Inc.’s safety and quality practices. Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada is currently recruiting a highly energetic and motivated Clinical Assistant for our branch in Moncton. The Clinical Sleep Assistant facilitates the administrative aspects, and offers support in the storefront area as it pertains to CPAP therapy in a specific branch location.

Requirements

  • College Certificate or Diploma in Medical Office Administration or medical background preferred.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office, ERP & Google systems with strong data entry skills and selling skills.
  • 1-2 years of experience in general office practice
  • Must be Bilingual (English & French)

Responsibilities

  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
  • Provides support for supervisors, managers, sales and healthcare staff by performing daily office duties
  • Provides friendly and helpful service to clients by providing specific information as it pertains to CPAP therapy
  • Assists with monthly CPAP sales goals (ie: CPAP machines and rePAP)
  • Assists with maintenance of CPAP equipment and inventory for the branch
  • Jointly booking CPAP appointments and follow up for clients at the branch
  • Participates in home testing for diagnosis purposes within the supervision of a healthcare professional
  • Assists healthcare professionals with the completion of necessary process and forms, assisting with the cleaning & maintenance of CPAP equipment during in-service to client
  • Documents client care services by charting in client records
  • Facilitates payment by preparation of funding documents, and maintaining knowledge of funding systems
  • Other duties as assigned
