About The Position

At Clinical Associates, we make being healthy easier. We connect our patients to a seamless system of integrated medical care, which includes in-house specialists in 7 areas of practice, from cardiology to podiatry. We also offer unique services like our ambulatory surgery center and nuclear stress testing facility. We are seeking to add a Clinical Assistant to our team in Pikesville! Our ideal candidate must be willing to work in a team environment, be flexible, and detail oriented. The Clinical Assistant provides administrative support to a team of Certified Medical Assistants and healthcare providers at a specific site.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to convey a positive attitude and project a professional image.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of general medical office procedures preferred.
• Proficiency in computer skills/ EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scanning forms, diagnostic test results, and other correspondence into the appropriate category of each patient’s chart within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Completing the full scope of the prior authorization process for medications and diagnostic testing.
• Sending normal lab result letters to patients.
