About The Position

Everleap Fertility is hiring a full-time Clinical Assistant for its Morristown, New Jersey clinic. The position works Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., with rotating on-call weekends and holidays in Basking Ridge. The Clinical Assistant supports the nursing process and physicians and other multidisciplinary team members by providing hands-on patient care. The role helps create a positive patient experience and deliver high-quality service. Training in phlebotomy is available.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.

Nice To Haves

Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant program; certification in nursing or healthcare assistant studies.
Completion of a phlebotomy program.
Prior experience in women’s healthcare.
EMR experience.

Responsibilities

Assist physicians with clinical procedures.
Follow proper protocols for all procedures.
Practice phlebotomy.
Document ultrasound measurements and provider comments accurately, use appropriate stimulation templates, and chaperone ultrasounds.
Clean examination rooms and equipment according to protocol.
Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms.
Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
Collect and process specimens for in-house and outside laboratories.
Manage Lanfax for outside laboratories, reports, and results; enter results and email them to the provider team for review.
Provide patients with information about upcoming procedures and reassurance and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
