About The Position
As our Certified Medical/ Dental Assistant you will coordinate Preventative Dental Evaluations using tele-health platforms, collect medical histories, capture diagnostic data, and organize patient records for remote dentist review. You will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through the virtual visit process and answering questions. Maintain accurate documentation while demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Medical or Dental Assistant
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Current CPR or BLS card (must remain active)
- Proof of current immunizations and TB screening
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with dental tools, terminology, and procedures
- Previous experience in healthcare or a customer-facing role
- 8-Hour Infection Control Certificate
- California Dental Practice Act Certificate
- Fluency in another language is a strong plus
