Requirements

• An earned doctorate from a nationally recognized and accredited institution of higher education conferred by the start of employment
• Commitment to high-quality teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels
• Commitment to preparation of effective professionals
• Eligible to hold an unencumbered RN license with the Arkansas State Board of Nursing and secured by the first date of employment

Nice To Haves

• Documented teaching experience at the college/university level
• Experience in student advising at the college/university level
• Experience or interest in the scholarship of teaching and learning

Responsibilities

• Teaches graduate and undergraduate level courses
• Participates in student advisement and mentoring
• Engages in service activities in the department, university, and profession
• Contributes to departmental efforts towards maintaining accreditation
• Participates in curriculum development, assessment, and continuous improvement activities to support the quality and effectiveness of academic programs
• Participates in departmental, college, and university service activities, as appropriate to their appointment
