About The Position

Nashville General Hospital is hiring a Full Time, Clinical Assistant - LPN/RN Forensic in Nashville, TN. Schedule Monday-Friday 7am - 3:30pm The Clinical Assistant - LPN/RN delivers nursing care for patients (inmates) across their life span, and through the use of the nursing process, assesses and documents the effects of care under the supervision of a Clinic Coordinator works cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, medical and other patient-team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice.

Requirements

Current Certified Medical Assistant Certification at minimum or Practical/Registered Nurse License in the state of Tennessee
Employee must have a valid BLS upon hire.
CPI required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Create a positive experience by welcoming and assisting clinic patients
Preparing and maintaining patient files by obtaining personal and health information
Promoting patient safety by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment
Setting up and stocking examination and procedure rooms
Sterilizing medical equipment and sanitizing designated areas
