Women's Care of the Bluegrass is currently seeking a CMA, LPN or RN to join our Women’s Care team. This role is ideal for a professional passionate about women's health and community wellness. The candidate will play a vital role in supporting providers, coordinating care, and ensuring a welcoming, patient-centered experience.

Requirements

  • CPR Certification.
  • Licensure/Certification within good standing.
  • Maintain required continuing education courses.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with and keep supervisor informed of clinical activities, needs, and problems related to patient care
  • Complies with established patient care standards.
  • Maintains established clinical policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control.
  • Maintains a clean, orderly and safe environment.
  • Cooperates with other personnel to achieve department objectives and maintain good employee interdepartmental and public relations.
  • Greets patient and escort them to the exam room.
  • Takes and records vital and patient medical information in chart.
  • Prepares patient room for exam.
  • Assist Provider in procedures as necessary.
  • Completes ordered lab procedures.
  • Administer IM, Sub Q injections to include immunizations.
  • Wound care and suture removal as directed by Provider.
  • Communicate results of all procedures and tests to Provider.
  • Discharge patient to receptionist.
  • Cleans and disinfects exam rooms after use.
  • Restock supplies, linens, equipment, and checks for defects and outdated.
  • Maintains professional growth and development through seminars and educational sessions are required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
