About The Position
The University of Alabama School of Law seeks qualified applicants for the position of Clinical Assistant / Associate Professor of Law and Director of the Entrepreneurship and Small Business Clinic. The successful candidate will oversee and/or conduct all phases of legal services for Entrepreneurship Clinic clients, teach and supervise law clinic students, and manage other law clinic staff. This is a year-round (12-month) position with eligibility for security of position. Salary, benefits, and research support will be nationally competitive. Requirements
- Outstanding academic credentials
- A J.D. from an accredited law school or an equivalent degree (such as a Ph.D. in a related field)
- Member of the Alabama Bar or will apply for and become a member of the Alabama Bar within a reasonable time of beginning the position
Nice To Haves
- Experience in clinical legal education
- Ability to write and publish legal scholarship
- Experience in entrepreneurship and small business practice
Responsibilities
