The Ohio State University’s School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences invites applications for a clinical faculty member to teach in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at the Assistant or Associate Professor-Clinical rank. This initial 5-year appointment is renewable in 3 - 5 year terms based on continued need and annual reviews. We seek candidates with physical therapy teaching and practice experience in neurology, geriatrics, clinical reasoning and differential diagnosis, pediatrics, or clinical education administration; ideally, candidates will cover more than one area. Candidates must have appropriate educational preparation to teach within our DPT program, with a PhD, EdD, or equivalent preferred. Our clinical faculty devote most of their time to teaching and must demonstrate excellence—not only as educators but also as productive scholars and committed professionals. The scholarship of discovery, integration, application, and teaching and learning are all valued for clinical faculty. All faculty are required to participate in service to the PT division and the school, including support of activities for accreditation.
