Indiana University School of Optometry, a leader in clinical education, patient care, and research, is seeking skilled clinicians to join our clinical faculty in Bloomington, Indiana. These are clinical-rank, non-tenure-track faculty positions with a preferred start date of May 1, 2027. Applicants must hold an O.D. or equivalent degree, be eligible for optometric licensure in Indiana, and have completed an accredited residency program or possess equivalent relevant clinical experience. The School is seeking candidates for two clinical faculty positions: Primary Care: Provide comprehensive primary eye care in our Primary Care Clinic, practicing to the full scope of Indiana optometric licensure and serving as an initial point of contact within our patient care system. Pediatrics and Primary Care: Provide care in both our Binocular Vision/Pediatrics and Primary Care clinics. Candidates may have particular expertise in pediatrics or binocular vision or may have broader family primary care experience and be comfortable caring for both adult and pediatric patients. Candidates for these positions must demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care and clinical education and be prepared to participate in the clinical supervision and instruction of optometry students. Applicants may request consideration for either or both positions and should identify their position preference or preferences in their application materials.
