About The Position
National Counseling Group (NCG) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Assessment Specialist to join their team. This role is crucial in the client care journey, involving conducting Comprehensive Needs Assessments (CNAs), completing intake documentation, and populating client profiles in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). The specialist will collaborate with guardians, service providers, and Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) for service coordination, referral management, and service authorization facilitation. This position also serves as a key communication point, providing timely support to internal teams and leadership to ensure all assessments and documentation are completed accurately and efficiently. Requirements
- Must be a Resident in Counseling or hold a full Mental Health license (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in G-Suite and EHR systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Comprehensive Needs Assessments (CNAs) and complete client intake documentation.
- Maintain accurate client records by entering assessments, diagnoses, medications, and other required information into the EHR.
- Coordinate referrals and service authorizations while collaborating with families, providers, and Managed Care Organizations (MCOs).
- Communicate with clinical teams and leadership to ensure timely follow-up, documentation, and continuity of care.
