  • Effective written and verbal communication; ability to translate between clinical, operational, and technical audiences.
  • High degree of ownership, follow-through, and comfort operating with limited supervision in a lean team.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in value-based care, primary care, or multi-specialty ambulatory organization.
  • Familiarity with ECW Prisma, Particle Health, or other external data ingestion and interoperability platforms.
  • Exposure to Salesforce Health Cloud or CRM-based clinical engagement tools.
  • Clinical background (RN, LPN, MA, or equivalent) or formal clinical informatics training.
  • High degree of critical & analytical thinking, problem solving, organization and time management skills with strong attention to details.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and interact with multiple levels of the organization.
  • Experience with ITIL-aligned change, incident, and problem management in a healthcare setting.
  • Certifications such as ECW Certified Analyst, CPHIMS, or Epic/Cerner cross-training, are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Triage and resolve Tier 2/3 ECW support tickets, including issues related to scheduling, documentation, orders, referrals, billing handoffs, and reporting.
  • Partner with clinical and operations leaders to evaluate new ECW features, upgrades, and patches; perform impact analysis, coordinate testing, and manage release communications.
  • Utilizing change management process to ensure stakeholders are incorporated into decision making and have advance notice of changes that will impact them.
  • Maintain a clean, documented configuration baseline across the enterprise ECW instance; reduce one off customizations in favor of standardized, scalable design in line with industry standards and best practices.
  • Serve as a hands-on analyst for the Phreesia platform, supporting enterprise rollout across the clinic network and ongoing operations post deployment.
  • Design and maintain digital intake workflows, patient facing questionnaires, consents, and registration logic aligned to clinical and revenue cycle requirements.
  • Shadow clinicians, medical assistants, front desk, and care coordination staff to understand how clinical and operational work happens on the floor.
  • Document current state and future state workflows; identify gaps, friction, and automation opportunities across the patient journey.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with clinical and operational stakeholders; translate requirements into clear functional specifications, configuration plans, and test cases.
  • Partner with data and analytics teams to define operational KPIs and validate that system configuration supports accurate measurement.
  • Support the configuration, maintenance, and user enablement of specialty clinical applications that complement the ECW core (e.g., imaging, eRx, clinical quality, population health, and point-of-care tools).
  • Act as a primary point of contact for specialty application vendors for issue resolution, enhancement requests, and release management.
  • Partner with the Senior Manager on interoperability initiatives including ECW Prisma, national exchange networks, and payer data exchange; build working knowledge of HL7, FHIR, CCD/CCDA, and TEFCA/QHIN concepts sufficient to support configuration, testing, and issue triage.
  • Support referral management, closed-loop referrals, and external data ingestion workflows from a clinical workflow perspective.
  • Maintain current, version-controlled documentation for ECW configuration, workflows, integrations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Partner with the Senior Manager to progressively assume ownership of platform domains, building the knowledge depth required to serve as a durable backstop.
  • Contribute to end user training materials, change communications, and super user enablement across the clinic footprint.
  • Participate in change advisory and release management forums for the clinical platform stack; author change records with clear risk and rollback considerations.
  • Engage in incident and problem management for clinical applications, including root cause analysis and corrective action follow-through.
  • Adhere to HIPAA, HITRUST, and internal governance standards in all configurations, access management, and data handling activities.
  • Conducting periodic reviews and audit of system users, permissions, licensing and logs for Healthcare applications and preparing summary reports on findings.
