Requirements
- Associate’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution in Nursing (AS RN, BSN RN)
- Six (6) years of clinical practice/experience.
- Active RN license
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in biomedical or nursing informatics.
- Experience working with clinical terminology standards (e.g. SNOMED CT, LOINC and RxNorm) or in clinical Natural Language Processing (NLP) in healthcare.
- CCDS (Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist) from ACDIS or CDIP (Certified Documentation Integrity Practitioner) from AHIMA certification or Two (2) years CDI equivalency.
- Good communication, oral presentation and writing skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work well within a fully remote team.
Responsibilities
- Utilizing clinical nursing knowledge to identify relevant clinical data from electronic health record (EHR) documents.
- Providing content support to Solventum end-user products by applying Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) in a clinical setting.
- Supporting informatics and technical requirements for continuous improvement of the design and content of Solventum clinical products.
- Educate and coordinate content utilization with other Solventum departments and customers.
- Comply with corporate policies, procedures and security standards while performing assigned duties.
