Three Trails Behavioral Hospital in the area of Independence, MO is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Clinical Analyst I to support its clinical and operational teams. This role assumes responsibility and accountability for participating as part of the clinical information system team, performing liaison duties associated with the implementation, support, and maintenance for all aspects of the clinical information system. This position provides continual education to facility employees and physicians, problem tracking, resolution, on-going enhancement requests; active participation in system testing, workflow redesign, and change management. The name Three Trails was selected to honor the historical significance of the city of Independence as the starting point for the Santa Fe, Oregon and California Trails. The logo icon is a compass, which is symbolic of wayfinding, and metaphorically the personal journey to recovery. The Groundbreaking for the new hospital was held in January 2025. Beam topping was held in July 2025. The facility is expected to open in the second half of 2026. The Clinical Analyst will: Provides on-going support and management of clinical applications Works with technical staff on WTS and printer setup, new Laboratory and Pharmacy devices, troubleshooting technical set-up vs Cerner issue. Develops and provides training programs, documentation and manuals to clinical staff, medical staff, and physician office staff on the use of clinical information systems Work in conjunction with the local IT Techs in preforming initial computer and related hardware troubleshooting steps Triaging Cerner tickets. Determine if education item or if issue goes to local IT team, account security, or Corp Cerner Teams Schedule weekly rounding – participate in morning unit huddles or round throughout shifts to determine any Cerner needs or deficiencies Log and manage enhancement requests. Reports – requests for reports, knowing where they are, how to run, when and how to request Three Trails Behavioral Hospital will: Serve children and adolescents, adults and seniors with innovative and evidence-based inpatient behavioral healthcare focused on individual needs and comfort. Create more than 200 new, full-time jobs including nurses, clinicians, therapists, technicians and administrative staff, when the facility is fully operational. Be located at the intersection of I-70 and Little Blue Parkway, adjacent to the Children’s Mercy Hospital Outpatient Clinics.
